Disk Space

Disk space is the allocated space for any file storage associated with your hosting plan. Dedicated storage areas are made available for email, raw log files, account specific configuration files and your publically accessible web files.

The common personal computer has an internal magnetic hard disk on which is stored the operating system, programs, and information data. Our servers use a much more complicated hard disk system compared to a personal computer. Our servers use raid hard disks. RAID (Redundant Array of Independent Disks) is an acronym first used in 1988. RAID boxes provide the user a way to access multiple individual hard disks as if they were one larger disk, spreading data access out over the multiple disks, which reduces the risk of losing all data if one drive fails, providing added protection for your website. This process also improves disk access time making your websites faster.
